I am an Assistant Teaching Professor at the McCourt School of Public Policy and an Assistant Research Professor at the Massive Data Institute, Georgetown University, where I also serve as the Associate Director of the Data Science for Public Policy program.
My research and teaching interests are interdisciplinary, currently revolving around data science and machine learning. More specifically, I am interested in the application of computational models and algorithmic approaches to the study of political phenomena.
I received my PhD in Political Science from the University of Florida (US) and I am currently in pursuit of a second PhD in Computer Science from the University of Auckland (NZ).
When not in an office, I enjoy the outdoors and spent most of my free time playing with my two daughters and tinkering with electronics.
